Nicole O’Neill works with nonprofit organizations at West End Strategy Team that advocate for the use of diplomacy and the expansion of the freedoms of speech, press and religion globally. She supports clients by creating key messaging and conducting media outreach to amplify their voice and mission.
Prior to joining WEST, Nicole worked with the corporate reputation team at FleishmanHillard. She also previously held communications internships at Waymo and Amtrak.
Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Maryland, where she specialized in public relations and studied nonprofit leadership and social innovation.
While at the University of Maryland, she created a plan to reduce plastic waste on campus and designed a full-scale communications plan for an emerging nonprofit that aimed to help long Covid-19 survivors. She also worked on multiple student publications writing stories on underreported campus events and managing their social media accounts.
