Vice President of Talent & Equity

As Vice President of Talent & Equity, Chris leverages more than 20 years as an accomplished, transformational leader and strategy-focused human resources professional to lead West End Strategy Team’s overall human resources strategy. Passionate about the well-being of people and creating safe spaces for team members to thrive, Chris oversees full life-cycle talent management, leadership development, organizational and cultural development, and equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. She also manages health and well-being benefits administration and employee relations.

Prior to joining WEST, Chris served as a human resources director for a clinical research organization, and most recently, a large cardiology group in Northern Virginia. She has worked for several prominent hospital brands, including Cancer Treatment Centers of America; Prince George’s Hospital Center; Sibley Memorial Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medicine; and Children’s National. Chris has also spent time in the U.S. Virgin Islands as the head of talent for a healthcare consulting firm. 

Earlier in her career, Chris co-owned a boutique staffing firm and helped lead a nationally renowned workforce solutions company.

Outside the office, Chris volunteers with several local and national organizations, has co-chaired fundraising events for both local and state politicians, and is a proud Ambassador for the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola University Chicago and a certificate in Human Resource Management from Villanova University. A D.C. transplant from the Midwest, Chris takes pride in being an avid lover of food history and the culinary arts.
