Celebrating 10 Years of WEST

We launched West End Strategy Team in 2013 to partner in efforts to enrich lives and create a more just, equitable world.

After a decade, we hold firm to the belief that smart, strategic communications can improve lives. Through our work in partnership with our clients, we expanded voting rights and shaped U.S. diplomacy and foreign policy. We secured protections for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, keeping families together. We held corporations accountable and exposed human rights violations. We promoted policies strengthening the social safety net, secured funding for the preservation of public lands, advanced early childhood education equity and access, and supported measures that will reduce gun violence.

Together, we moved Washington, D.C.’s oldest synagogue across town and broke ground on a cathedral made of Legos. We supported our clients as they navigated a global pandemic and promoted equitable healthcare and vaccine access. We secured victories at the ballot box, increasing minimum wage for tipped workers, protecting abortion access in states and restoring citizenship rights for millions. And we launched research, initiatives and organizations that change the conversation about critical issues facing our country.

As we reflect on the successes of the past 10 years and look to the future, we are grateful for our clients for their continued trust and partnership and privileged to support their work on some of the most important issues affecting the lives of people and communities across the country and around the world.
